Hotel Policies and Rental Agreement


PAYMENT

  • Your first night room and tax will be charged at the time of booking. Your final balance due will be charged at check-in.

CANCELLATION

  • You have seven days prior to arrival to cancel your reservation to receive your deposit back. Reservations cancelled inside of seven days will not receive their deposit back.

  • Check-in time is from 4PM on day of arrival

  • Check-out time is before 11AM on day of departure

CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT

  • Although we do have an office on site, we do not maintain regular front desk hours. Instead we offer contactless check in and check out for your convenience. A door code and check in instructions will be emailed to on the mornijg of your arrival.

HOUSEKEEPING

We are committed to providing exceptionally clean and comfortable accommodations. While daily housekeeping is not included, mid-stay refreshes or fresh linens can be arranged upon request.

  • For stays under 7 nights: fresh linens and towels are provided at check-in. Mid stay changes are available upon request.

  • For stays of 7 nights or longer: A complimentary linen and towel change will be provided every 5 days.

SMOKING AND VAPING POLICY

  • Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all guest rooms and indoor public areas, including the sauna, or within 6 meters of windows or doors, in accordance to the BC Tobacco and Vapour Products Control Act. A cleaning fee up to $500 may be charged for violations. In respect to other guests we ask you not to smoke at our outdoor gathering areas. We have provided an ash tray in a designated smoking area. Guests who fail to comply may be asked to leave the property without refund.

QUIET HOURS

  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM until 8:00AM 

    During quiet hours, guests are expected to:

    • Keep voices, televisions, music, and other noise at a low level

    • Avoid disruptive behavior in guest rooms, balconies, and common areas

    • Refrain from parties, gatherings, or excessive noise that may disturb other guests or neighboring properties.

    Management reserves the right to issue warnings, require immediate compliance, or terminate a guests stay without refund for repeated or severe violations of this policy.

DAMAGE

  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the room, furnishings, fixtures, linens, or hotel property during their stay, whether caused by intentional acts, negligence, or misuse. The hotel reserves the right to charge the guests credit card on file for the cost of repairs, replacement, excessive cleaning, or loss of revenue resulting from the damage. 

PETS

  • As animal lovers and pet owners, we know how wonderful it can be to travel with our pets, which is why we allow dogs on the property and in some of our guest rooms (we do not allow any pets in our Queen Studio Rooms). Guests must register in advance to bringing a dog as not every room is pet friendly and availability is not guaranteed without notice. Should you arrive with an unregistered pet, your reservation may be cancelled and additional fee’s may be incurred.

    • Two dog maximum per room

    • $50 fee applies for registered pets

    • Pets may not be left unattended in rooms

    • Leash your dog while outside of your room, in respect to other guests as well as the large assortment of wildlife that pass through the property (birds, deer, bear, wolf and cougar)

    • Additional cleaning fees (up to $250) may be charged after check-out for damage or mess

    • Please clean up after your dog.

    • Knowing you are bringing your furry friend with you, your room will be provided with a pet towel, water, and food bowls.

SAUNA

  • Use of the sauna is at the guests own risk. Guests should consult a physician before use if pregnant, under medical care, or experiecing heart conditions, respiratory issues, high or low blood pressure, or other health concerns.

  • Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

  • Appropriate swimware or attire must be worn in respect to other guests.

  • The property owner, management, and staff shall not be held liable for injuries, illness, allergic reactions, dehydration, dizziness, loss of personal property, or damages resulting from misuse of the sauna or failure to follow posted rules and instructions.

KAYAK LAUNCH

  • By accessing or using the property's kayak launch area, access pathway, or nearby shoreline, guests acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

    Public Foreshore Notice

    • Guests acknowledge that the beach, foreshore, and shoreline areas adjacent to the property are public lands and are not owned, controlled, maintained, or exclusively operated by the property owner.

    • The property provides access to the waterfront area solely as a convenience to guests and does not guarantee the condition, safety, supervision, availability, or exclusivity of any public beach or foreshore area/

    Use at Own Risk

    • All waterfront, shoreline, and beach activities are undertaken entirely at the guests own risk. Natural conditions may include slippery rocks, uneven terrain, tides, currents, waves, floating debris, marine wildlife, submerged hazards, and cold water conditions.

    Kayak Launch and Storage

    • Guests using the kayak launch area do so at their own risk and are responsible for safely launching, retrieving, transporting, and securing their own equipment.

    • Kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, and related equipment must be stored only in designated areas approved by management, and must not obstruct walkways, access routes, docks, or common areas.

    • The property is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property, equipment, or watercraft stored or used on the premises.

    • Guests may not use or move equipment that is not their own personal property or approved by management. 

    • Guests are responsible for assessing weather, tides, water conditions, and visibility before entering the water and should avoid launching during unsafe conditions.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • While we do not maintain regular office hours, you will find us present in the office and on the grounds throughout your stay. We live very near the hotel and are available to be contacted for your questions and in case of an emergency situation.
